De-Mucking & Heavy Sediment Removal

Over years of bunkering heavy residual fuels, heavy unpumpable bitumen, paraffin waxes, and abrasive cat-fines settle onto tank bottoms. When vessels undergo major surveys, conversion, or tank inspections, mechanical pumping is insufficient and specialized manual de-mucking is essential.

Operational Scope & Deliverables

  • Removal of unpumpable asphaltic and waxy heavy residues from heavy fuel oil bunker tanks
